“Wa(Japanese)” the Culture We are Proud of – a Work of Calligraphy by a Pen –
Hello, I’m a writer of KARAKURIJAPAN, Yonosuke! I’ll introduce a work of calligraphy by a pen. Today’s work is typical of KARAKURIJAPAN!
“Wa(Japanese)” the Culture We are Proud of
Today’s work I’ll introduce is the word “wa(Japanese)”. It’s used when we represent Japanese something. It sounds good with the pronunciation “wa”.
Japanese style is called “wafu”, Japanese foods are called “washoku”, and traditional Japanese clothes are called “wafuku”. All of them are amazing!
And these Japanese cultures are highly evaluated even overseas.
Especially, washoku(Japanese foods) have been highly evaluated in these years all over the world, and more and more Japanese restaurants have been opened everywhere. The word “sushi” has been universal.
We are proud of them as Japanese! Because they are delicious!
“Wa” Means Japanese
As I said, wa means Japanese. I think we don’t have to translate it because you can see the meaning even just by saying wa.
So washoku is Japanese foods, wafu is Japanese style, and wafuku is Japanese clothes. Exactly.
Then! We had Ms. Maria write the word “wa(Japanese)”!
How Ms. Maria Wrote “Wa(Japanese)”
I’ll explain it, but I recommend you to watch the video! Her usage of the pen is really beautiful!
▲At first, she wrote the left part without hesitation. Even in progress, it’s elegant! I expect it will be the best work that represent Japanese charms!
▲Next, she wrote the right part. Pay attention how she wrote! She wrote in the different way from the usual. As I say many times, her usage of the pen is really beautiful! I want you to watch the video. Fascinating!
She completed the work with writing “WA” at last.
Completion of “Wa(Japanese)” by Ms. Maria
Ms. Maria, it’s your best work! We can see how Japanese culture is amazing from it! Foreigner will be pleased to have it.
▲She tells the splendor of Japan with the word “omotenashi(selfless hospitality)” I might have seen it before. Is it just my imagination?
You can watch her cute mimicry in the video! Anyway she is a Japanese beauty!
How was it? It’s an amazing work!
